Love drew a circle that took him in. *
The mission of Willoughby United Methodist Church is to make, minister to, mature, and mobilize disciples of Jesus Christ. To facilitate this mission, the small group ministry develops, supports, and sustains small groups (usually 3-12 people) that meet regularly, are grounded in prayer, provide care for each other, and incorporate one or more of the following elements: - Service to our church, community, and world.
All small groups share the following goals: - To grow spiritually and become more Christ-like
- To practice Christian discipleship
- To transform Willoughby United Methodist Church into the living presence of God in our community

* From the short poem by Edwin Markham "He drew a circle that shut me out ... Heretic, a rebel, a thing to flout! But love and I had the wit to win; We drew a circle that took him in!”

Reflecting
...on Stewardship
"You are blessed to be a blessing". When we live in gratitude for what we have received through the grace of God, we understand that we have a responsibility to pass our blessings along to others. In short, we did not get what we have by our own merits, but by the graciousness of God. As God has blessed us, we are to bless others. ~John L. Hopkins, Resident Bishop of East Ohio Conference
